Some joints draw from Japanese wood joinery traditions, with the rest developed collaboratively with the carpenter, all avoiding metal hardware. Numbered and colour-coded on the axonometric truss study for clarity, these details embody the project’s philosophy of honest construction — where joints are left exposed rather than concealed, allowing the material and its connections to speak for themselves. Structure here is not hidden, it is the architecture.
