With its labyrinth of histories and its rulers, the Ausa fort in its existing context is the food source for many, protecting the informal peripheries, while the adaptive reuse proposal on the inner fortification is formally driven with a ‘char bagh’ concept with memoirs from the past and its use as a public space.
