Situated between the Sabarmati River and Mill Owner’s Building, the project explores architecture as a framework for freedom rather than control. It begins with an open ground plane that invites wandering, gathering, and pause, creating a sense of ease and informality. Built masses emerge through a subtle system of passages and axes that establish order while allowing flexibility in use. Spaces are not rigidly defined but adapt naturally to changing activities and everyday life. The porous edges allow the built form to dissolve into its surroundings, making the project feel less like a fixed object and more like an extension of its context.
