ABSTRACT SPECULATIONS: AASHTI MILLER

Architects are often confined by restrictions of site, program, form, and function. Abstract Speculations was my attempt to move past these, and create something simultaneously loose and constructed. Can the act of drawing a line still create architecture with no walls, doors or windows? Can traditional techniques manifest the modern?

Drawn with pen and ink, using architectural drafting tools such as a mayline parallel rule straightedge, and an adjustable set square.
