Nestled at the foothills of the Sahyadris, with a reservoir on one side and a seasonal stream on the other, this eco-retreat on a contoured topography over four acres, is planned on the principles of environmental conscious architecture and permaculture. A thorough site analysis and climate study was done, before finalising the zoning, planned in a thicket of native trees. The built-forms have been designed using rammed earth walls and compressed stabilised earth blocks from the site’s soil harvested.
