THE ONE WITH ACTIVE LANDSCAPE: Reading Grounds

The visual is a diagrammatic representation of a park landscape around an upcoming club on the outskirts of Bengaluru. The site is peculiar with a 12-meter-wide road bisecting through it. Connecting the park to the clubhouse was imperative. Objects of identical characteristics are carefully positioned on either side of the axial connector within a visual axis. The landscape then develops on one side around the meandering trail with mounds, furniture, canopies. Carefully selected trees, flowering and evergreen, dot the entire park and creates a sheltered cocoon. Connected plaza makes a shared surface at grade with road, thereby prioritising the pedestrians.
