THE GREAT ROOM: STUDIO POMEGRANATE

A Dining room of a resort in the Andamans; set against a backdrop of gigantic trees, and untouched land. This room intends to amplify the environment it sits in. It is a semi-open pavilion looking outside, with a folded roof that brings water into the building. Further reinforcing the power that nature holds upon viewers in this amazing land.

The Drawing describes the room in section with a view of the inside- a dining setup on the left, and an elevated library/reading space on the right. The water channel in the centre is a series of small courts to let water in.
