Ground and First Floor Plans 

No 8 is a 510 sqm minimalist residence in Colombo, Sri Lanka, that successfully commemorates concrete in its natural exposed form with subtle hints of timber. The structure and the roof are made entirely with a board-formed concrete finish. The voluminous facade is interrupted with green pockets to bring in ample natural light and ventilation throughout the residence. 

The residence is planned categorically with a service and utility block, open plan living, and a private block on the first floor. Natural light and ventilation are introduced through the vertical gardens, courtyards, and open lawns around the built form.
