The emergence of a space to cater to new needs with time from an existing old house which is almost on the verge of collapse. The clients needed more space bound within the old foundation, with a very limited budget. The idea was to reduce wall thickness by introducing prefab panels and increasing the roof height to accommodate a mezzanine Studio space. The design intends to reuse the existing materials as far as possible with slight modification. The house is designed in such a way that by reordering the components, it can evolve into an entirely new space that could still be prominent in the future.
