Stage II – Competition Entry for the Council of Architecture Centre of Excellence
The competition entry for the Council of Architecture’s Centre of Excellence envisions a neighbourhood-like campus with a non-institutional character, bringing together diverse minds and disciplines to foster collaboration at every level.
The Centre demonstrates modes of construction that minimise environmental harm while serving as a place for research into responsible and regenerative built environments. The buildings respond sensitively to the terrain and to one another, collectively shaping a vibrant and interconnected environment. The proposal reflects the team’s belief that projects of this scale can only be conceived and realised through collective thinking, collaboration, and shared responsibility.
The drawing represents the guest house and canteen building, one of the four buildings designed as part of the Centre.
