The sketch was developed as an exercise to visualise a space in the house called “world within” where we created a courtyard to bring in south-east sun inside. The courtyard opens up as we move from ground to the first floor, and all the neighbouring balconies and habitable spaces like kitchen, prayer room, family room can overlook into the courtyard. The Tree stands against the red brick texture of the courtyard with light from above.
