The narrative attempts to interpret the ordinary as iconic versus image as iconic – towards a more relatable and inclusive environment by exploring an existing building typology -as a ‘Place’ for the City. The outline of the program is to celebrate the mundane: a place to find the familiar.

The idea of ephemerality is introduced in the built form as a facilitator which could expand, and contract as required to receive the existing and additional actors and activities within the context of the project.
