Using lessons from the old fabric of buildings in the Ulsoor Bazaar Street, which serves as a backdrop for interventions and a bit of whimsy, the drawing suggests active frameworks that accommodate movement and habitable spaces, make connections, create new public spaces, generate power and offer shade. These additions are made from the common furniture various characters from the street use daily and reorganize them to use as structure, which constantly mutate to incorporate change.
This drawing was made as a part of Hundredhands’s contribution to the Death of Architecture, Exhibition, 2018.
