The project resolves to put Mumbai and Bollywood on the global map through a futuristic and contemporary landmark. The land intensive function of a film city was compacted and transformed into a vertical tower that would generate an exemplary urban form bringing all the amenities and departments of the film fraternity into one place, making it an efficient and sustainable design. The twisting ramp designed as the theme of “Mumbai Streets” connects all the Navarasas (of our Indian Cinema) at all levels and performs with respective rasas. Bollywood Tower responds to all the Nine Rasas by its colour, texture and functions.
