The images are three from a series of ten that explore a fictional landscape to build a narrative, using orthographic imaginations of built form (the elevation, the section) as a central image.
The landscape is named simply through abstract coordinates, a brief paragraph introduces a traveler – an itinerant and a displaced person at the same time. The industrial and the natural here are congruous, the buildings are as native to the place as any geological phenomenon.
Sky, systems, landforms, built forms are collapsed in a description of place, and the fantasy plays out in these, as well as in more thematically familiar elements.
