Inspired by visual frames from the film Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam, the illustration explores everyday rest as an architectural condition. Patios are treated as planar thresholds mediating interior and exterior space, where figures articulate posture, occupation, and social rhythm. Through hand sketching combined with digital line work and subtle colour layering, the drawing functions as both analytical representation and cinematic observation, revealing how interstitial spaces structure pause, informality, and domestic life.
