Gulmohar is a compact 900 sqft home nestled in the small town of Sitamarhi, Bihar. The house unfolds into layered spatial experiences: interspersing intimate zones with double-height volumes, jaalis, and balconies that invite light and breeze. Anchored in its context, the design stitches green pockets along its edges to create moments of openness and retreat within a dense neighborhood. This sectional view captures the home’s vertical connectivity and its embrace of scale, craft, and surprise.
