Cezara Home: KUN Studio

This axonometric illustration captures Cezara Home, a brick and concrete house gently woven between old ‘neem’ and ‘mango’ trees outside of Hyderabad. Rather than cut the orchard, the plan flows around each trunk, creating small courtyards and shaded verandas, which in addition to the hollow brick walls help the house stay cool. Birds, blossoms and fruit appear just as they do on site, making the balance between building and landscape clear. The style of the illustration fuses the ornamental, story-telling spirit of Indian miniatures with the precision of architectural axonometric drawing.

It is drawn entirely in Adobe Illustrator with custom vector brushes, every tree, brick wall and feather is placed by hand, mirroring the careful way the house was designed & built.
