


The drawing here expands to show the layers of materiality which come together to compose the roof structure for a store in Goa that houses organic products from the Gurez Valley in Kashmir.
In the humid tropics, coconut leaves serve as traditional weather barriers. They are layered atop woven bamboo matting, enhancing insulation. These mats are securely fastened to a framework of bamboo culms, carefully poised on a sturdy metal structure.
