ARANYA is a township at Indore for 7,000 families which was designed by Vastushilp Foundation, Ahmedabad in 1980s for Indore Development Authority. The main emphasis of the project was on housing for EWS category which was developed as Site and Services. A cluster of 80+ houses was built as Demonstration Houses which displayed possibilities of growth of a house horizontally and vertically. The drawing is a miniature styled representation of what was built. As the design focused on Indian culture and lifestyle, the same was highlighted in the graphics.

The original hand drawing was done in 1989. However, in 2022, a digital version of the same was recreated.
